Rainfall has picked up in the 3rd dekad of April when compared to 2nd dekad of April. Most parts of the country had deficit rainfall anomalies except the extreme northern part and parts of the South which had normal and surplus rainfall anomalies.

The 2nd dekad of April indicated that the country had continued to witness a decline in rainfall when compared with the past two dekad.

The 3rd dekad of March indicated that rainfall had spread up to Zaria and Bauchi in the northern parts of the country. The Southern and Central parts of the country had surplus rainfall anomalies while the northern part had normal.
