Agrometeorological Bulletin No.6, Dekad 3, February (21 –28) 2018

The 3rd dekad of agrometeorological bulletin of February, 2018 is presented in this edition. The country recorded an increase in rainfall amount across the South when compare with the preceding dekad while the northern cities had no rainfall except some part of North central. Highest rainfall amount was recorded over Calabar (90mm). Rainfall distribution improved in southern part with 1-2 rain-day.

Agro-meteorological Bulletin No.4, Dekad 1, February (01-10) 2018

The agro meteorological bulletin for 1st dekad of February, 2018 shows an increase in dryness from the north down to the Central cities. The rainfall anomalies shows most parts of the country experienced below normal rainfall anomalies except some parts of the central down to the south inland and coast where normal to above normal rainfall anomalies were observed.

Agro-meteorological Bulletin No.2, Dekad 2, January (11-20) 2018

The agrometeorological bulletin for second dekad of January, 2018 shows only Owerri recorded 15.1mm of rainfall amount on day 11th of the dekad. Most parts of the country experienced normal to below normal rainfall anomalies except Owerri that had above normal rainfall anomalies.

Agro-meteorological Bulletin No.34, Dekad 1, December (1-10) 2017

The first dekad of December, 2017 shows a continuous reduction in rainfall distribution and decrease in rainfall total across the southern states of the country when compared with the preceding dekad and the highest rainfall amount was recorded at Ijebu-Ode (16.2mm).

Agro-meteorological Bulletin No.33, Dekad 3, November (21-30) 2017

The agrometeorological bulletin for 3rd dekad of November, 2017 shows an increase in dryness across the country following the cessation of rains across the north and central states . The rainfall distribution showed reduction (1-4) of rain-days over the south east inland and coast.

Agro-meteorological Bulletin No.32, Dekad 2, November (11-20) 2017

The second dekad of November, 2017 shows a continuous reduction in rainfall distribution and slight increase in rainfall total across few stations in the southern states of the country when compared with the first dekad and the highest rainfall total was recorded at Calabar (110.2mm).
