The dekad under review ( 3rd dekad of April) showed that rainfall activities had extended to some parts of the northern states. Areas like Kano, Zaria , Kaduna, Bida, Minna, Abuja had surplus rainfall anomaly, however the north-eastern part of the country remained normal....

The dekad in review showed that Kaduna, Abuja and Ilorin in the North had significant amount of rainfall. Maximum temperatures remained high especially in the extreme North where places like Yola and Yelwa recorded above 400C....
