Moist Southwesterly winds blowing from the Atlantic Ocean are retracting and their position have continued to move Southwards within the past 24hours; for today, they have remained to the South of Lat. 10.0oN in the Western sector and also remained to South of Lat. 09.0oN in the Eastern sector respectively, within Nigeria. The Subtropical anticyclone (also known as Azores high pressure cell over Africa) located in the Northern Hemisphere is active.

The Subtropical anticyclone (also known as Azores high pressure cell over Africa) located in the Northern Hemisphere is strengthened.

The Subtropical anticyclone (also known as Azores high pressure cell over Africa) located in the Northern Hemisphere is strengthened. Dust haze with poor visibilities were observed in stations across Niger republic and Northern Nigeria.

The Subtropical anticyclone (also known as Azores high pressure cell over Africa) located in the Northern Hemisphere is strengthened. A trough extending from the mid-latitude is still located over Niger republic.

Moist Southwesterly winds blowing from the Atlantic Ocean are retracting and their position have continued their Southwards movement within the past 24hours; for today, they have moved to the South of Lat. 10.5oN in the Western sector and also moved to South of Lat. 10.0oN in the Eastern sector respectively, within Nigeria. The Subtropical anticyclone (also known as Azores high pressure cell over Africa) located in the Northern Hemisphere is strengthened. A trough extending from the mid-latitude is located over Niger and is responsible for generating this dust episode.

The Subtropical anticyclone (also known as Azores high pressure cell over Africa) located in the Northern Hemisphere have retracted and displaced Northwards, thereby allowing the moist Southwesterlies to oscillate Northwards.

The Subtropical anticyclone (also known as Azores high pressure cell over Africa) located in the Northern Hemisphere have relaxed and displaced Northwards, thereby allowing the moist Southwesterlies to oscillate Northwards.
