Agrometeorological Bulletin No.36, Dekad 3, December (21 –30) 2018

The 3rd dekad of agrometeorological bulletin for December, 2018 shows no rainfall activities were observed across the country. Highest temperature was recorded in Abeokuta (36.10C) and lowest at Yelwa (25.30C). A large part of the country were in normal to colder than-normal temperature anomalies with exception of places around Dutse, Bauchi, Makurdi, Abakaliki, Asaba where warmer than normal day-time temperature anomalies were observed.

Agrometeorological Bulletin No.35, Dekad 2, December (11 –20) 2018

The 2nd dekad of agrometeorological bulletin for December, 2018 shows no rainfall was observed across most parts of the country except places around Ikeja, Oshodi, Warri where light rainfall of below 40mm were reported during the dekad. Highest maximum mean temperatures was recorded Abeokuta (36.00C) and lowest at Jos (28.20C).

Agrometeorological Bulletin No. 34, Dekad 1, December (01 –10) 2018

The 1st dekad of agrometeorological bulletin for December, 2018 shows most parts of the country recorded no rainfall total except Warri which recorded light rains of below 20mm. Below normal to normal soil moisture conditions were observed throughout the country. Highest temperature was recorded at Abeokuta (35.50C).

Agrometeorological Bulletin No.33, Dekad 3, November (21 –30) 2018

The 3rd dekad of agrometeorological bulletin for November, 2018 shows a slight improvement of rainfall amounts across the coastal parts of the country when compared to the previous dekad. Normal to below normal rainfall anomalies were also observed over most parts of the country except for a few places around Ibadan, Ikom and Port-Harcourt that experienced above normal rainfall anomalies. The mean maximum temperature ranged from 28.80C (over Jos) to 37.10C (over Yola).

Agrometeorological Bulletin No.32, Dekad 2, November (11 –20) 2018

The 2nd dekad of agrometeorological bulletin for November, 2018 shows insignificant rainfall amounts were observed across Southern parts of the country except few places in the coastal states that recorded 45.5mm in Calabar, Eket (40.1mm) and Warri (23.7mm). Normal to below normal rainfall anomalies was observed.

Agrometeorological Bulletin No. 31, Dekad 1, November (01 –10) 2018

The 1st dekad of agrometeorological bulletin for November, 2018 shows the country recorded low to moderate rainfall total across the southern parts of the country. Normal to above normal rainfall anomalies was observed in the southern parts of the country while normal to below normal rainfall anomalies were observed across the northern parts of the country.

Agrometeorological Bulletin No.30, Dekad 3, October (21 –30) 2018

The 3rd dekad of agrometeorological bulletin for October, 2018 shows most parts of the country recorded moderate to heavy rainfall total with highest observed at Asaba with about 385.00mm of rainfall and lowest over Ondo with 1.8mm of rainfall. Normal to above normal soil moisture conditions were experienced in most parts of the country except places around Dutse parts of the south west and a few places around the coast where below normal soil moisture conditions were observed.

Agrometeorological Bulletin No.29, Dekad 2, October (11 –20) 2018

The 2nd dekad of agrometeorological bulletin for October, 2018 shows most parts of the country recorded moderate rainfall total with highest observed at Ikom with about 168.4mm of rainfall and lowest over Zaria with 1mm. Normal to below normal soil moisture conditions were experienced in most parts of the country except places around Warri, Enugu, Awka, Abakaliki, Eket and Portharcourt where above normal soil moisture conditions were observed.
