Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) is one of the government parastatal under the Ministry of Aviation saddled with providing consistent, timely and accurate weather information for the aviation sector. We play a vital role to design, develop operational requirements and weather support for the aviation sector. Weather support is a key element of aeronautical meteorology and it provides a very important contribution for airlines to perform their operations efficiently with minimum risk. NiMet is ISO 9001: 2015 certified in Aeronautical Meteorology making our product, processes and services of International Standard. To further enhance our core mandate, we have designed and developed our products and services along International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Standard and recommended practices (SARPs).
