In 2015, the earliest onset date of rainfall is expected to be March 6 over Brass, Bayelsa State, moving progressively northward, and June 25 for Danboka, Sokoto State. The rainfall is predicted to cease at Sokoto from 8 October and over Akwa Ibom and Bayelsa states on 21 December.
